Fall is my favorite season of all for more reasons than I can name. But for starters; cooler weather, layers, boots, pumpkin spice, and apple pies! With the change, rebirth, renewal all present in the crisp air around me I begin to feel a sense of calm move within me. With fall here it also brings in that whiff of magic, warmth, and nostalgia that many resonate with the holidays approaching.

As I do with most changes in my life I take time to reflect on my intentions, direction, and feelings. These fall affirmations for embracing change came together as I sat with my fall intentions. In 2020 we’ve experienced a change in such a drastic way with the world at a standstill, grief, fear, and families having to make some of the biggest shifts of their life.

These fall affirmations are for you if you’ve been feeling uneasy or anxious about what lies ahead. I’ve learned to manage my anxiety by accepting that the things that are out of my control are simply out of my control. This has taken years of self-work and therapeutic care but honestly, it’s always a work in progress because I am NOT perfect. What I have noticed during times of intense anxiety around change and feeling out of control is there needs to be a mindset shift. When I take my time to shift my focus on what I can control and ground myself on what is right in front of me my anxiety significantly decreases.
In the fall we affirm ourselves in acceptance, gratitude, grace, and embrace purpose. As the leaves fall from the trees you see the power in transition, this season encourages us to look inward. Are you also a lover of all things fall? My intentions for this fall is what guided me to share these fall affirmations for embracing change. Although most of the world is home, my life is in a busy season and as we approach shorter days I begin to wonder how I will keep it all up and all together.

Then I realized that I don’t even have to have it all together, and those standards are set by me and me alone.

And that is why in this season I begin to shed that which no longer serves me, protecting all that is NEEDED to carry me into and through winter. I hope that these nine fall affirmations inspire, uplift, and encourage you to set your intentions for embracing the transition of the season.
  1. Like the leaves during Autumn, I shed that which no longer serves me.
  2. I open my hands to the gifts of change.
  3. I trust in myself and in life. Everything is exactly as it is supposed to be, right now.
  4. I radiate confidence in all that I do.
  5. I am rooted and grounded.
  6. Here I flow easily, accepting, and embracing change.
  7. I grant myself space for energy, healing & rest.
  8. I witness little miracles all around me.
  9. I am equipped with all that I need in this season of transition.
  10. I feel grateful for this beautiful life.
  11. I release myself of anger, I am Free!
  12. My bounty is overflowing.
